These super fluffy American-style pancakes are the ultimate motivation to get out of bed.
Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
• 150 grams of Farina Banana Flour (any flavor)
• 295 ml of milk. Any kind can be used
• 1 large egg
• 4 tablespoons of butter, plus extra for baking
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Optional:
• Fresh fruit such as banana or strawberries
Preparation
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
- Heat the milk in the microwave or on the stove top until it is warm, but not cooking. Melt the butter in the same way.
- Whisk together milk, egg, melted butter and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, pour the milk mixture into the well and use a fork to stir until no more flour clumps are visible. It's okay if the dough has small lumps, it's more important not to overmix the dough.
- Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Melt some butter to prevent stickiness. You can use a tablespoon (fill it ¾ full per pancake) to spoon the batter into the pan. Gently spread it into a 10cm circle.
- Leave for about 2 minutes. When the edges look dry and bubbles start to appear flip. Once flipped, cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through in the middle.
- Delicious with butter and/or fresh fruit.
